Title: Controlling volume in MC with USB Digital Audio device
Post by: dougitman on February 08, 2010, 01:47:39 pm
My USB SPID/IF device does not use speaker volume control. to adjust volume, I must either use my A/V Receiver remote control or use the Wave volume control.

Is there a way to tell MC to adjust windows Wave volume and not speaker volume?

Right-click the small speaker icon on top-left to access the Internal Volume option. The same option is also available in the Player menu (Player > Volume > Internal Volume).

EDIT

It uses MC's internal DSP, so strictly speaking it doesn't adjust the Windows Mixer's wave slider.  I am not sure if that is even possible on XP. On Vista and Windows 7 you should be able to use the standard application specific volume adjustment.
