Title: Del Key deletes to the left!

Shall this be a feature!? How can I disable this behaviour?
When I place the cursor in the middle of a text from where I want to delete it first deletes everything to the right but then continuous to delete text left from the cursor ...

Works ok here  :)
Maybe you have a special delete key?

I had that once too, but with a keyboard I had spilled coffee into before :) after replacing the keyboard everything went to normal again

i can reproduce it easy. select something, click F2 go to the end or nearly the end and keep the del pushed..  :)
