Title: 14.0.140 Bug: "You will not be able to use Media Center until these updates ..."

If I do Check for Updates and when the update to 147 is offered click Cancel, MC says:

Quote

One or more required updates have not been installed.
You will not be able to use Media Center until these updates have been installed.
Are you sure you want to cancel?

yet if I  accept and relaunch the app, I am able to use Media Center.
