Hi all,
I've some videos encoded as Bivx, meaning they contain two audio streams in two different languages.
When playing them in MC, the two audio streams are played simultaneously making things hard to understand ;)
Is there a way to make MC able to deal with that format?
thx

What "codec" setup are you using to play back Divx files? Also what is the file extention of the Bivx files you are playing?

How can I know what is my codec setup? sorry if it is a stupid question ;)
Hope it is not in Tools > Options > video because it makes my MC crashing.

wrt extensions of my Bivx, it is ".avi"
thx,

Windows does not have the capability to play back Divx without installing other software to do so. Given the information you supplied, I would say there is an excellent chance your setup broken. I would recommend using CCCP Insurgent to clean your PC. Then install CCCP to enable playing back of Divx etc. Google for CCCP and you should find them both. It may fix both issues.

You may also need to select the stream to which you want to listen from within MC.
Sometimes, files are encoded with different languages in the left/right channels - in which case the only way I know to solve the situation is the balance knob on my receiver.
