Title: PLAY functions differently in standard view and theater view
Post by: audio-odyssey on February 28, 2010, 11:36:34 am
The PLAY button on my remote works differently in standard view versus theater view.  I like how it behaves in standard view better (starts pyaing at the beginning of a track).  In theater view it operates the same as the PAUSE button (play/pause function).

Is there a way to get theater view to behave the same as standard view?

When you stop a video, press stop a second time if you don't want it to resume at the place you stopped.

I am referring to AUDIO playback.  In theater view the PLAY and PLAY/PAUSE function do the same thing while in standard view PLAY will restart from the beginning of a track and PLAY/PAUSE works like you would expect pause to work.

The play button on a remote should always play what is selected.

If it's restarting a playing track in Standard View, I think it's only because the playing track is selected.

when in standard view the mcc play command from the remote behaves as set in the options for the playbutton. in Theater View it plays what is selected.
did you programm your remote yourself?
if so, could it be you use mcc 10001 instead of mcc 10000?
