Title: Lame 3.98.3

Hi all,

I see that there has been a new version of LAME released at http://lame.sourceforge.net/
- 3.98.3. Will the current lame.exe used by Media Center be updated soon or should I just download and save over the existing?

It's safe to download the newer version and overwrite the version in [MC]\Plugins.

We base our own updates on the community sentiment.  So if anyone feels strongly that the newer version is better for general consumption, please let us know.

Just curious, is the current Lame version used in MC14 some form of 3.98?   Also, I assumed that MC12 and MC13 use 3.97.  Is this correct?
