Sony Vaio, Windows XP, EMU 0404 with MC 14, using ASIO driver supplied. No other apps running, priority set to backup processes.
This setup works great and sounds fantastic. I leave the computer and application up and running 24/7 except that it goes into standby mode after some period of time. Coming out of standby mode, I get clicks and pops. This is corrected by closing MC and starting it up again. Maybe buffers get screwed up? Is there anyway around this. I have thought that going to Windows 7 might be a reasonable idea but this laptop is older and only has 1G of memory.
