I'm trying to view ASS (Advanced SubStation Alpha) subtitles in an MKV file. I can select the subs in Stream Selection, but they don't show up. How can I make them work?
Never mind, I had to install VSFilter. To install it in Windows 7, download here: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/VSFilter_DirectVobSub (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/VSFilter_DirectVobSub), and to install the dll, you need to run the command regsvr32 "C:\YourFolder\VSFilter.dll" as an admin. I made a batch file and ran that as admin to do it. I found a quick tutorial on it with VSFilter and the batch files included for download, not sure if it's the latest version of VSFilter, check it out here: http://www.hack7mc.com/2009/07/loading-subtitles-with-directvobsub-vsfilter.html (http://www.hack7mc.com/2009/07/loading-subtitles-with-directvobsub-vsfilter.html)
