Title: Newbie - Handheld wifi device to control MC 14 ??
Post by: skibum on March 20, 2010, 03:21:06 am
Hello,

I am planning on having a small format pc with no screen or keyboard for my audio server.  I would like to have a wifi connection to a handheld device to control MC14.

Something like the new Apple Ipad or similar woulld be my first choice.

Can I do this?  Any other options??

Thanks!

Skibum

MC has a web server you can run to generate web pages that a browser on another PC can use to control MC.

The one in the current version is primitive.  A new improved one is coming in MC15.  It should work in most browsers.  It does work on the Touch, so the iPad should also work.

Hi,
I'm using an old dell axim PDA, running Pocket player as a DLNA controller and it works very well, even for multiple zones.
