Title: Analog tv tuner image quality

So I've decided to try out MC theatre view features.  I use windows 7 Media Center currently for my htpc as it works well for my analog tv reception.  When I try MC however the picture quality compared to wMC is much less.  I'm sure it must have something to do with the filters jMC is using.  I'm not sure what wMC uses but I'm wondering if anyone else does and if jMC can be setup up so that I can obtain the same image quality.

oh and my tuner card is an Ati TV Wonder HD650

Are you doing digital in both cases?  Or is one analog?

I'm only using using the tuner for the analog cable signal currently
