I am new to MJ & MC. I found out the both MJ & MC abruptly ends the music (when played as .wav file) about one second before it should actually end. Such premature ending causes significant annoyance to me as I listen to a playlist at high volume.
Anybody experience same? Wonder why such a bug is tolerated.
Some technical info:
- Run MJ & MC under Win2k and WinXP.
- I edit a bunch of test .wav files to 1) ensure music gracefully fade out to mute; 2) added a couple of seconds of silence at the end. No matter. The music is played and stopped a second before it actually end, while the rest of the silence continues.
- No such problem when same .wav files are played by Windows Media Player or other players.
Would appreciate a solution from anybody.

Double-check the option "Do not play silence (leading and trailing)"
Try a different output method (DirectSound, WASAPI, ASIO, etc.)
Let us know what you find. Thanks.

Wo, Matt that fixed it.
Turn on 'play silence' is the trick. Don't know why it is turned off by default, because it is a ON thing for CD. I told you I am new to this ware. I will now go through every options and configure. Embarrass to tell you that I don't know what is DSIO and DirectSound output mode. Perhaps you can educate?
But I like MJ so far and impressed with MC even more. Likely buy MC and use it to anchor my setup.
