Any progress on subtitle support for my DLNA client device LG BD390 ?
A while ago it was mentioned this just needed some finetuning to support subtitles for this device.
Susbtitles play nice if I juse Nero MediaHome 4, but not with MC15.

What kind of subtitles? External .srt files or something else?
I don't think the standard DLNA system has a way to send and receive external subtitle files in addition to the streamed file.
I don't have MediaHome installed so that I could try it, but perhaps it can include hardcoded subtitles in the video stream when it is set to re-encode.

the files are external srt.
When using Nero MediaHome4 , subtitles are working well.
I think Nero sends this via the header information of the streamed file.

It'd be nice to get a wireshark dump of this working. In the next beta version there will be some support for sending .srt and .sub's. There appears to be no standard way to do this. I have it working with Popcorn Hour though..

With build 67, my LG BD390 does not work at all anymore, even when subtitle support is not turned on.
My LG turns of by itself when trying to browse my videos
My settings are:
- DLNA
- DLNAExtra
- Present Subtitle Resources (tried it with & without)
-
Any further plans for subtitle support for the LG BD390 ?

Bob's off for a couple of weeks, but I believe he was having trouble finding something that worked. We haven't given up.
