Try a reboot.

i am still having this problem even after reboot ... can you help? thanks

At what point does it crash - when you login to Performer?  If possible, please send me a log file (johnt at jriver dot com). To make a log, go to Help -> Logging and enable "output to a log file", checkmark all the events, then try to duplicate the problem and afterward click "click to email log files".
