Title: Playback of FLAC files
Post by: ofanoa on April 07, 2010, 02:36:38 pm
Hi,

I am interested in bit-perfect playback of FLAC files

Would the Media Jukebox 14.0 have the same features and sonic quality that the full J River MP have?

Any advantages that the full version would have for that usage [Bit Perfect playback of my music collection]

Thanks,

Ted

MJ14 should play the files without problems.  You could try it to verify this.

Thanks,

For that purpose [bit-perfect playback and audio library building with album art and cataloging] is there any difference between the full version and the Jukebox?

at this moment, for what you ask, the only main difference between mc15 and mj14 (and mc14) is the option of kernel streaming. depending on your soundcard it could be of value (for instance when wasapi and asio are no option).
but maybe i forgot something.
