Title: When Encoding/Ripping a CD. system slows down
Post by: Henrik L on June 28, 2002, 09:05:21 am
Just bought the program (great prg. btw), and now I think I will complain about it

Well it's seems that when I rip/encode a CD to MP3 or MPC (have not tryed anyother format), my WinXP system (which runs on a 900Mhz Athlon) seems to comes to a halt.

It does not seem to matter if I rip track then encoder, or doing both at the same time.

It's the encoder that slows down the system and it's easy fix if I change the Priorty of the process to "below normal" (I'm on a Danish system, so I'm not sure if's call that).

I just want the encoder part to play nice
