Title: tracks skip and stutter,

mj worked fine until today, june 27.  now tracks skip and stutter.
had to install new cdrom, could that be the problem??
if so, how do I fix it?

I just recently had the same problem start up on me.  My Samsung CDROM skips and stutters during playback and delivers these flaws when recording.  However, my CDRW drive does not do this.

I doubt this is a software issue for you as well.  Check your manual, the connections, drivers (make sure up to date), and with the manufacture, then try returning your CDROM if all else fails.
