Title: Video and audio in two separate files
Post by: audunth on April 14, 2010, 08:10:43 am
Hi

Is there still no way of playing for example a Matroska video file with the HD sound in an external FLAC file, like with Zoomplayer? I can easily play a video file with subtitles in a separate .srt file, the VSfilter takes care of that. But I can't find a way to do it with audio. In Zoomplayer, you select the option to play audio from an external file in the Zoomplayer options, not in the splitter configuration. It works by looking for an audio file with the same name as the video file in the same folder and lets you choose the audio stream like you do if the video file has several muxed audio streams.

Is this a feature that will be possible with MC?

No plans to add a feature similar to that of ZP? So it means the files has to be muxed together to play in MC?
