This was a problem in MC14 and is still happening in MC15. I've also upgraded this system from Vista Premium to Windows 7 Premium since then but I still cant play videos in the background of a theme. I tried turning on logging with every optionbut it doen't tell me much. There are no errors. I can even ee that the filter has been loaded for the video and there are no errors reported.
What does MCuse for playback of the background videos in themes? Should I look into my filters, MC playback options, Windows settings, etc?
Suddenly my system stopped playing videos as a background in themes. The same video plays fine on another computer. I tried WMV and MPG files but neither will play. I can play them fine in MC and Dreamscene also works fine. The files were never changed or moved. I just happened to look and realize that the background was solid rather than playing video. Any ideas?
