Title: Plugin downloading errors

I've been trying to download some plugins, but EVERY plugin i try to download gives me the following error "Invalid package file.  Cannot continue."

Running 8.0.311 on windows 2000 pro.

Try this:

Use IE,

Choose Tools/Internet Options and then Temporary Internet Files/Delete Files. It could take a _long_ time (30 minutes even). IE may look like it is frozen.

And that, in my opinion, is an IE bug.  It doesn't seem to check to see whether it has enough temp file space.
