Title: MC 15 hanging when playing files

Hi,
every other day MC15 causes my computer to freeze all disk operations. I cannot save/load documents from any other program until I force MC15 to stop via the task manager. Usually MC is running in the background. When I switch to MC the play/stop buttons are "blinking"/"flashing". This only occurs when music is playing.
I guess it's related to MC accessing files.

All files in my Media-Library are on my local disc. I'm running Win7 x64
Just installed the latest MC15 version today and the problem just occurred again. Unfortunately there seem to be no related messages in the event viewer...

Is this problem known?

I haven't heard this before.  One guess is that the drive with media on it is going away and the program is searching for the next file to play.  It will try 1000 files before giving up.

If you'd like to help track down the issue, you might enable logging (Help > Logging) and email a hang log to matt at jriver dot com:
