Title: 5th Gen + MC14/15 + Pioneer DEH 4900i Car Stereo along with other support.

Greetings,
     As stated above, 5th Gen classic 160gb sitting pretty and running fine, sync'd with MC14, now moving to 15...
Issues are that when I connect to the car stereo on the new iPod cable, I am supposed to see the Pioneer logo pop up on the 5th Gen, then have complete control from the head unit. Works perfect with the gf's nano - synced with iTunes, and my friends 160gb 5th Gen also on iTunes. Only difference is MC14/15.

I fear, that though I've been a huge fan and recently upgraded, I will have no choice but to use iTunes for these features.  :'(

Do you have any suggestions?

I can't see why MC would change that.

You might try syncing with iTunes to see if it works.  Then sync again with MC.  iTunes will update the firmware.
