Title: Track info visualizations on MC connecting as client?
Post by: Dan1970 on April 28, 2010, 06:13:44 am: I have one pc running MC15 as Library Server and another one connecting to this library.

On the server MC I have the option Track Info when right clicking on the top part of the Now Playing view. On the client side, this option is missing.

Is this how it should be or a bug?

Maybe this makes my problem clearer:

For Zone1 now playing view I have the option to change visualizations, for the now playing view of There: Zone1 I do not.

It would help me a lot if I had the same options for all zones!

If a visualization is customized -- I use a custom track info page to rearrange the layout and show some custom fields -- does it get remotely used (or copied) by the client, or must it be manually copied to each client?

Ah, thank you.

The issue is that the audio is playing _there_. That means the decoded data that could drive visualizations is also there and unavailable to the client.

When Media Center is in remote control mode like this, you can't get visualizations or the display of the movie playing there. If you play on the client, both of these would be available.
