Hi
This is not version dependent problem as far as I know.
mediacenter ver 15.0.32 installed on both computers,
one is a living room media center computer functioning also as mc server
other is client only.
when playing video files with subtitles files ( srt, sub, ... ) attached in the same folder on the media center computer everthing is fine.
when playing from a client after connecting to the library server, sub files are not listed ( naturally ), subtitles are not seen when playing
vubsub is installed on both computers.
when playing by browsing to the shared folder on the server from the client and choosing the video file, subs are seen.
could not find any way to add sub files to library through Auto import settings or any other way.
I apologize for the imperfect English
help will be appreciated

I'm not sure if this will work but if you can access the files with the same file path from both the Server and the Client then check Tools --> Options --> Library & Folders --> "Play local file if if one that matches Library Server file is found".

It works fine for me with a server client set up.

For this option to work, your media file must be located on the server in a folder with a drive letter that is also mapped to a drive on the client with the same drive letter.

Or you both build your MC Library and share you media folders with UNC...

Thank you "Yaobing" you rock
after implementing your suggestion It's working as it should be
and as bonus playing is instantaneous now,
while before I had to wait for the whole movie to buffer to the local temp folder
