Title: Setting "Fadeout slowly" when stopping song doesnt work
Post by: Al ex on May 03, 2010, 01:47:55 pm
Using: MC 15.0.32

When I stop a song, I would like to fade it out slowly, instead of a sharp stop.

MY SETTINGS:
OPTIONS / STOP & SEEK / STOP: FADEOUT (SLOW)

PROBLEM:
By clicking on pause (stop) the song, it is still stopped sharply instead of fading out.

Fadeout on stop requires a working volume slider, and of course audio played through the JRiver engine (not Quicktime, etc.)

You might try using internal volume in Media Center if your soundcard doesn't expose a volume.

I know that the feature worked in the previous versions of JR Jukebox (I think the last version was v12.x, I used).

I am using the JRiver engine, no Quicktime, etc. I am simply starting MC and start the music.

Setting  OPTIONS / STOP & SEEK / STOP: FADEOUT (SLOW) seems to have no effect at all...

OK, I identified the problem:
by clicking on the button with the "pause" sign, the music pauses (which actually is logic anyway ;)
to stop the music, one has to double-click the pause button, then the music fades out correctly!

-->
Is there a way that the music stops instead of pauses, when clicking once the button. And pauses, when clicking twice?
Or to set also the pause function to "fadeout slowly"?

thx

Some of the skins have 4 buttons instead of 3.  The extra button is a stop button.
