Title: Problems with ripping CD's

Ok, I too have finally upgraded to windows XP, however I find that when I go to "rip" CD's that the cd writer screen hangs up while it says initializing. Can someone please give me a hand. I'm at a loss here. Thanks!

Do you mean rip or burn (read or write)?

Please see the FAQ on burning.  You may need ASPI.
