Is it normal that I cannot see the cover playing a file through Media Server ?

What's the possibilty of one of you wonderful techy people writing some sort of plug in to handle this??? I also would love to be able to do this from the server even if it meant dulplicating the cover art files onto my second machine.  Is there something technical that makes this impossible or has nobody just considered doing it?  Didn't someone here say just the other day that they were looking for something new to do?  Here's your challenge.
