Title: How to schedule a TV recording with no Program Guide Info

A program guide is not often available for a lot of Local Channels in my region or It is not always so accurate or reliable and I would rather schedule recordings manually. Is there a way to do that, maybe through a command line in the Scheduler plug-in?

You might try another XMLTV solution.  Start at the Wiki article.

You should be able to record by time from Standard View.  You may have to click on a single channel.

That's right! I thought I could only record "Live" TV while watching when there was no program guide, but now I realised that I could set a start and finish time for the recording  :-[
