Title: Can MC detect when the output device is switched?

For speaker use I use Volume Levelling and Equalizer from the DSP menu.  For headphone use I switch off Volume Levelling and apply different Equalizer settings.  Given that the PC automatically re-routes the sound when I plug in the headphones I'm wondering whether the software, ie MC, is aware of the switch?  If so, could we get the ability to tie DSP profiles to output devices and then auto-switch when the output devices are changed?

Am I missing something?
