Title: I kept my promise and registeret, but...
Post by: Mastiff on June 26, 2002, 02:23:12 am
The ¤%"#¤%#&¤%* IE crashed when I tried to copy the serial number to another document. I think I found it in the IE history, but I need to know if this is the correct format:

*****-*****-*****-*****-*****-*****

Also the registering process opened up another window that didn't load the URL. Was that a kind of a receipt or something like that?

And why can't I delete messages here when I suddenly get an email that tells me what I ask for? Is this to make sure that when you make an idiot of yourself on this forum, it'll be proven for all times?

Still, the second window that opened but didn't load the URL is a mystery to me.

it will be ok, we humans have short lives, and even shorter memories

Thats true but have you ever noticed that the amusing times when you make a fool of yourself seem to be the times everyone else remembers? Next Page

You cant delete it but you can just modify it and remove all the text from it and then write something lovely like:
Hey I love you guys!
or something similar in it's place Next Page

Hi Tor,

The window that didn't load is a "Welcome to MJ" type of page.

What version of IE? Any ideas on why it crashed?

Thanks,

j

Gateley, I think it might have been because I had a few ads in the background that I didn't know about (from the last webpage I was on), and one of them tried something dirty, so my firewall killed it. But when I registered the MJB on one of my other computers the same window opened without finding the page! Weird, huh? Maybe the lines to Norway are bad...
