Title: Upgraded to 8.0...saved old library....first import created duplicate files

I just updated to 8.0 from version 7 and did not clear my old library (which looked ok the first time I ran 8.0).  However, the first time I imported almost all of my files were duplicated!!

1.  Is there a way around this?

2.  Can I easily eliminate duplicate files?  (Couldn't find this option in library maintenance.)

3.  Anything I can do that will save my old playlists?  I assume "Clear Library" will erase my playlists too.

Disregard....I figured it out.  Earlier version of library pointed to my 'networked' hard drive and when I installed 8.0 I forgot and pointed to my 'native' hard drive.  Fixing this solved my problem.
