I am syncing some playlists to a location on my laptop that is set up as a portable device in JRiver on my server.
Everything syncs okay but for some reason the files are getting renamed with some seemingly arbitrary number tacked on.
Before: 3OH!3 - 03 - Don't Trust Me.mp3
After: 3OH!3 - 03 - Don't Trust Me - 1552.mp3
Before: Blue October - 01 - You Make Me Smile.mp3
After: Blue October - 01 - You Make Me Smile - 3600.mp3
When I sync to my android phone that is setup similarly this doesn't happen.
Any idea what is going on?

More testing: I tried syncing from two different machines and they both do this but with different numbers tacked on. So I deleted the files and resync'd from the same machine and get a different number appended each time I transfer the file.
What is this number and how do I get rid of it?
Thanks!

Okay - I think its the fact I was using a library server? Does that make sense?
I copied over the library files to this laptop, mapped the drives so they matched and performed my sync - this time no numbers were appended.
So with a local library things transferred as expected. When syncing using a library server I get these seemingly random numbers appended to my file names.

In build 58:
Fixed: When syncing content from Library Server to a handheld, extra unneeded numbers could end up in the final filename that were used during download time.

awesome! Glad it wasn't just my incompetence.
