Hello,
my audio library consists of around 10,000 *.flac-files, among them many with classical music. When there are more than one artist in one track, I write them in the artist-field, separated by a semicolon . Most of my tags are done either with the ripping program (dbPowerAmp) or with another program. In MediaMonkey, every artist appears with his own knot in the artists-tree.
When I import these files in my JRiver Media Library, the strings only show the first artist. Everything behind the first semicolon is cut off. :(
Has somebody out there any advice for my, how to handle this problem? another program is not really an alternative to JRiver, but I would like to search for the artists behind the first semicolon in my library.

Hallo Vincent,
I've tried, and it works within JRiver.
But I have the problem, that my files already have the Artist lists delimited with semicolons. The Import doesn't work. Still the strings are cut off at the first semicolon. Do you have an idea?

There are 3 tags, Album Artist, Artist and Band.
Take 1 track and tag each of them with multiple values and import this track.
If I remember correctly, Artist and probably Band are imported including the ;
If this works, use a tool like MP3 tag to bulk copy the content to a tag accepting the ;
