Title: Unable to play lossless music files in iPhone using WebPlay
Post by: edgarau on June 11, 2010, 04:01:35 am
When I use the Webplay function in my iPhone, all my lossless .wav files were automatically transcoded to mp3 down to the phone. Is it possible to bypass the transcoding process so that the .wav files can be directly streamed to the player??

I already did the following config in MC15:
Network --> Library Server Client --> Conversion:Don't convert audio / Encoder: Uncompresed stream

Thank you!

Currently medium-bitrate MP3 is always used for WebPlay.

Hopefully this will become more configurable in the future.

Should FLAC & APE be getting transcoded? Neither work for me to my iPhone.
