There seems to be an issue with Media Center 15 and the ability to play custom VOB files and burned custom DVDs. I created them using ConvertXtoDVD, both versions 3 and 4, and MC 15 locked up and then crashed every time I tried to play both the VOB file(s) and the burned DVD. I tried playing both using other apps, such as Jet Audio and VLC Media Player and both player fine on both apps, so I know there is no issue with the data.
Any ideas?

Is no one else having this problem? I still have it in 15.072.

If you play them with Media Player Classic does the same thing happen?
It could be your direct show filters.
VLC uses it's own built in filters. Not sure about Jet.

I tried it with Media Center classic as you suggested and everything worked perfectly, as its intended. I'm not sure what the issue is. But its worked with every other app I've tried it with. With MC though, it just gets unresponsive and freezes. I have to terminate the process.

The weird thing is that MC 14 has no issues with this at all. I think I might just revert to that, since no one else seems to be having this problem.

As Chriz said, it could be the DirectShow filters you're using. The Wiki has an article on DVD playback and another on DirectShow.
