Title: Authentication issues - keep asking me for user name and password

When I enable authentication, it keeps asking me for username and password.
Even if I specify the correct one.

I have to disable authentication to be able to use WebPlay or WebRemote from my android default browser.

Note that I have a Motorola Cliq with 1.5

Any idea?

Without authentication I am now able to stream.

quick addendum

while using WebRemote or WebPLay my windows XP server crashed twice (blue screen)

Newer builds of Media Center 15 work much better with authentication.  Please try the latest, and let us know if you still have any issue.

A blue screen crash means there's a hardware problem.  Software can't really cause a blue screen.  Try updating your video drivers and running Windows Update.

I am using the latest version, Media Center 15.0.58.

If i turn on authentication, it will keep asking me the username/password over and over.
Note that if I connect to the library via another instance of MC15, it works
(so I am definitely using the correct username/password).

Only via the Android default browser I have this issue.

As far as blue screen, well I rarely get one on this desktop, but if I use WebRemote/WebPlay it
seems to happen fairly soon after.

Anyway I will double check that I have all the latest drivers.
I am definitely up to date with Windows.

This is using the default Android browser?  What version Android do you have?  Does it ask at every page, or just when you restart the browser?

We've been testing with v1.6 and v2.1 and haven't seen this.  Once the browser is told to remember the password, it doesn't ask again (until maybe the phone is rebooted?).

Unfortunately my phone, Android Motorola Cliq, is still running 1.5

and yes it happens all the time.
