I have 900Mb/100min CD-R's but MJ only allows me to burn 80minutes worth on them. Why?
Does any other JRiver sw burn 900Mb/100min for sure?

Where do you buy your 900mb CD-R's? If we could get hold of some we could add this feature to Media Center 15. I'm sorry but we aren't able to retrofit MJ12 to do this however.

I bought them from http://www.nierle.com/s01.php?shopid=s01&cur=eur&sp=en&ag=1
I actually noticed that it might not be (only) a MJ problem but instead a restriction in the HW, since no other burning SW will burn them either on my computer. Need to get a new burner since even firmware flashing didn't help this one.

Please can someone help a not-very-literate newbie. I am trying to burn a CD that will play in my car - NOT MP3 enabled. I used to be able to do it through Jukebox - now it's telling me I don't have a disk in the drive (when I have a CD/R disk in there); and when I have a CD/R-RW disk, it doesn't play in my car! PLEASE assist if you can! Many thanks. (Sorry, I don't even know how to start a new thread on this board.)

You can start a new thread with the "New Topic" button in the upper right.
Make sure that you have told MJ (in options) to close the disk. Many consumer electronics players won't play a disk that isn't closed.
