Title: Large Thumbnails without grouping?

Is there any way to get large thumbnails in MC15 without grouping? Something like this screenshot using MC12:

The large thumbnail column requires grouping.  This was done to allow drawing the image in a single pass instead of row-by-row, and to ensure nice spacing for the images.
