Received a Rio Riot as a gift. Forced to install Real Jukebox for file transfer - that's the only jukebox currently supported for PCs (far as I can tell).
Using MJ, been living in a fool's paradise. Trying to use RJ is a reality check. Takes forever to install files in program, and then hangs indefinitely when attempting to transfer them to the Riot. Sent email to Sonicblue advising of problem - as far as I'm concerned, will not use or buy one of their products until there is an MJ plug-in.
Riot now serving as paperweight for loose files on my desk. Also useful for hammering small nails and dislodging frozen windows.

Gotcha.
Just curious, even with MJs ability to stiffle RJs intrusivness, this still won't work? Kind of a bummer really, considering the potential of the Riot. Oh well, someday the world will be perfect....

That's why I personally will never buy a mp3 portable player that can not be used just like regular storage. I'm quite happy with my Archos Recorder 20 (only thing I had to do was buy new headphones and a different charger to avoid overheating)
Ok, I'll have to admit that I'd still take a Riot as a gift

HTH,
FYI, I emailed our contact at SonicBlue yet again last Thursday requesting the ability to support for Rio Riot. Have not had a response yet.
