Title: No access to WebPlay/WebRemote via WAN [SOLVED]
Post by: HiFiTubes on July 06, 2010, 07:29:44 pm
Not sure what's happening. I use homedns.org but the numerical IP doesn't work either. Ports are forwarded properly, and I can use UltraVNC via WAN.

I'm going to test with my laptop from work tomorrow.  I tried my office PC the other day with no issue.

Seems isolated to the iPhone over WAN.

The port you're using must also be open all the way.

I think it's only forwarded for TCP, not UDP. Does that matter?

Solved, thanks. Possibly UDP, but I turned off wifi and accessed WebPlay with 3G network.
