Title: DSP studio – EQ settings
Post by: Vincent Kars on July 12, 2010, 04:35:30 pm
The EQ comes with a couple of pre-sets
I changed the Custom setting, named it after my headphone model (C750) and saved it (+)
The moment I change a band (in any pre-set, including the C750), the pre-set field reverts to Custom.
I prefer to store my own settings settings and be able to change them afterwards

It sounds like it is functioning as designed.

You can save the preset again after changing it if you want it to be the preset.  Otherwise, once you change it, it's not that preset any longer.

I see what you mean.
But as a Window user I’m used to Save and Save As allowing me to choose a name of my choice and later open it and modify it.
It is a bit of a paradox: yes, you can make your own pre-set and no, you can not edit it
But I can life with current functionality although a bit awkward in use.

You can edit it by saving again and using the same name.  It's not as easy as a single click, but it is possible.

Don’t think this will work

Modify Custom and save it as C750
Select C750, the moment you touch a slider, the preset reverts to Custom with the C750 settings
Modify this custom setting
The only way to save it using the same name is to type this name in the preset field.
The moment you do the unmodified C750 setting is selected…….
