Title: Changing the amount of seconds skipping forward/backward
Post by: audunth on July 13, 2010, 12:52:06 pm
Hi!

Is it possible to change the default amount of 30 seconds forward/10 seconds backward when skipping/searching in audio/video files?

This comes up now and again, and I would also love to see this implemented.

This would be nice if it was implemented before football season. In the past I have always used Theatertek for watching games and it has this ability. I haven't yet loaded it on my latest HTPC and am using MC15 exclusively.  I like to skip ahead to the next play, but 30 sec intervals are too much.

One forward, one back would be 20 seconds.

We will probably make these both settings.

If you have the ability to send /MCC commands to MC via something like Girder or other similar software, then you can set the number of seconds to skip forward/back.
