Title: How to reboot the DLNA server remotely
Post by: docles on July 15, 2010, 09:40:46 am
Hello,

Does anybody find the way to reboot the DLNA server remotely in order to take into account new files in the library ?

My library works on a server, and I would love to send messages to the server from a DNLA control point.

ASSET UPNP does have this kind of features.

If not, it is a Feature Request.

Best Regards

Hi,

I was surprised to find out you are correct.  I was sure that adding files were updated to my PS3 on-the-fly without having to restart MC15, but I was wrong.  Restarting the DLNA client has no effect, the new file placed in the target folder is not served until I restart MC15.

A remote "refresh" command would be very handy (or reboot, whichever is easier).

Thanks,
DD.
