Title: Internal Volume
Post by: mojave on July 16, 2010, 01:42:38 pm
The internal volume cannot be controlled while viewing an image slideshow. This means that if you are using internal volume, start some music, and then play a slideshow, you can no longer control the volume.

This is tricky.  Volume control is totally zone independent.

Image playback is in its own zone if you're also listening to music.  This means you'll be staring at a different zone and thus different volume control in this case.

I'm not sure the solution.

Workarounds:

Pause the slideshow. Drop to the standard view and quickly switch between the zones. I have the Zone button on the top toolbar. It helps a bit.

or

Downgrade to MC11.1.

 ;) ...or perhaps I should :-X

it depends what you use to control the volume. with a remote, or when you use girder, or maybe even when you want to change the keyboard layout, you could use
mcc 10018,16777221
to raise the volume in zone 0 while watching images. its what i use on my remote and the volume keys on my keyboard.
