Title: windows 7 on netbook and Music Streamer II+
Post by: hes on July 22, 2010, 09:49:45 am
It seems as Windows 7 limits the output to 96 kHz and 24 bit.
Is there any ways to higher the settings til 192 kHz and 24 / 32 bit?

Yes, the limit is the USB implementation in the Windows.  Currently it is limited to 24/96 if the built-in USB audio drivers are used.

M2Tech wrote their own driver for the hiFace to go beyond that to 24/192.

Wyred4sound also have their own USB driver that allows 24/192.
