Hi guys,
I've tried twice now to burn an Audible book to CD (don't have a player that can handle the Audible format and my previous method of converting to MP3 no longer works under Windows 7) and both times now it has failed when I insert disc 5 with the wonderfully descriptive pop-up error of "Can't start the write". The Burn Progress in the Action Window also hangs showing "Preparing to write..." forever. The audio book comes in 2 parts and the first is discs 1-5 and the second 6-9, so I can get all the discs except #5...
I'd try using ITunes instead, but it won't recognize my burner.
Why Oh Why Amazon are Audible books still in a crappy DRM-laden format?

I'm having a very similar problem - see my post 'Burning Problem' on the MC14 board. Looks like it's not going to get solved, so, reluctantly, I'm having to use Nero which works a treat on the burner as does WMP and a few other apps.
Good luck....
