Title: Search engine disapear in cover view
Post by: bilbo2112 on August 02, 2010, 10:30:27 am
Hi,

I'm very pleased with MC15.0.087.  The ONLY thing that's missing is the ability to search in the "Cover View".  I like very much this view, and I would like the use the search engine without returning back to the "Standard View".

Thanks and keep up your good work.  MC15 is my "Best Buy" of the year  ;)

when you choose one of the other skins that are delivered with mc, you get the search again. try it to see if you like it. in my experience when using the search in cover view, the bar disapears to quickly:

im still trying though.
its not to difficult to get the 'other playerbar' to work in noire. when you up to it, ill recommend the thirdparty and skins forum.

Thanks for the tip.  It's working allright.  I never tought of a skin issue because it is on the player bar in the standard view.

However, the search bar must remain visible as long as we type that's for sure!  I think that we can call this a "bug"  ;)

That piece of software is really awsome.  I struggled for many years with Winamp and Foobar without getting exatcly the features, look and support/developpement I wanted.

You guys rock!

Cover view rocks. Yes, I will now take credit for requesting it years ago. It's been a hell of a week; I earned it. LOVING IT!

What happens if you do f3? I guess the search doesn't show? I used to dig the old quick search that popped up in the middle.
