The super easy COM interface only took an hour or so to get under control.  Made a simple RS232(aka Arduino) to MJ interface program in VB. Ill post my design and sketch for $50 3.5 inch touchscreen color LCD zone controller.

Arduino $20 Bucks
LCD/Touchscreen $27
IR Sensor (for remote) $2 bucks

Not including IR remotes and cat5e ( which I'm assuming we all have tons already)

Oh one thing. This may be addressed in current builds( I'm currently evaluating this all with the free Jukebox 12) in the MJPlaybackAutomation  interface the 'previous' method just resets the current track to the beginning and not to the previous "Playing Now" track. Is this fixed or should I be doing something different to get to the previous track?

Have you tried the "previous button behavior" setting?

Tools > Options > General > Behavior > Previous button: CD Player Style / Previous track always

Nope. Didnt work, but ill keep checking it out.




Edit: Nope it does. Had a bunch of short 3 second trash clips that was messing everything up.
