Title: Can tabs be specific to catagory of music, images or video?
Post by: tcman41 on August 17, 2010, 10:41:47 am
I created some tabbed views for music but they are are also showing up for images & video, is there some way to do that, or is this just how they work?

The viewscheme that you open in the tab determines what type of media is displayed.
The tabs just allow you to have multiple views open at a time, just like a web browser.

Also...

Tabs are either on, or off. It's all or nothing. We are not able to turn tabs on or off dependent upon the media being viewed.

So if I create a type in music for albums by genre its going to also show up for images and video?  ?

I want to create different tabs for different media types but i guess that's not possible.   :-\

you dont create tabs, you create views..and look @ views in the tabs

..and for the views, you can modify them exactly as you want customize view -> set rules for file display
