Title: Burner problems in 8.0.30

Downloaded 8.0.300. Burned first disk OK. Subsequently, when I click on CD-DVD in teh tree I get the following error messages:

MEDIA JUKEBOX caused a general protection fault
in module MMSYSTEM.DLL at 0006:000000d0.

Same thing when I try to get into the burner through the icon on the toolbar, or the drop-down.

Have uninstalled/reinstalled, selected generic drivers, doesn't solve it. MS Help suggests it may be because the "drivers=mmsystem.dll" line is missing from the [boot] section of the System.ini file.

Before I plunge into the Heart of Darkness without a guide, does this sound right? And why should that dll be missing at this point when it wasn't a problem before - bad install? Something missing in the new build?

Don't go diving into the system.ini file just yet. Let me take a look at this, I may need to send you a diagnostic version of MediaJukebox.exe to narrow down the problem. Can you email me at johnt @ jriver.com ?
