Title: How to remove empty space from tracklist view?

Often my tracklist is vertically padded with empty space, wasting up to 75% of the height.

I guess this is due to logic falsely allowing for an absent Image column, but is there a workaround?

I think that is the way Grouping works.  You can disable Group by in the Panes pulldown.

there is a workaround also. kind of. add the image(large thumbnail) back to the view. could be on the end. and make it very small.

Thanks - are you saying that Grouping is available ONLY with space wasted for an absent album art columns?

I like grouping and want to keep it! :)

Thanks... but how? Neither columns "Image (small icon)" and "Image (small thumbnail)" solves it.

you have to use the image (large thumbnail)

you could make it much smaller then i did.

You mean... reduce the size of the image in the file itself?

no, move your mouse over the header, and just make the collumn where the large image is smaller.

edit: i took another screenshot which makes it more clear. move the mouse to the place where i added the red circle and see your mouse pointer change. then just pull the column in the direction of the green arrow.. :P

Oh, I get it - yes, that recovers all of the space, except the part from the group headings rather than the thumbnail. Many thanks.

PS Devs, in addition to the fact hiding the column fails to remove its vertical space, you might also want to know that this colum header is missing its name. Thanks for a great program.
